Junior Blues Presentation Events have concluded for 2018 with our U16/U18 Presentation Evening held last night at the George Jenkins Theatre at Monash University.

Blues Chairman, Chris Beattie was trilled with the night “The Under 16 / 18 presentation night was a great way to cap off a wonderful 2018 season. Our coaches and their staff have worked tirelessly to ensure our young athletes have had every opportunity to represent the Blues to the best of their ability.”

“A huge thank you to Byron Carpenter and Glenn Eames for their contribution on the night, explaining the pathway that has been provided by the club for our juniors to take the leap in to senior basketball. I’m sure more than a few were inspired to test themselves at the next level.”

A big thank you is extended to the following people who have assisted in this year’s presentation preparations and event functions: Lisa Meddings, Mel Reponen, Cindy Shacklock, Steve D’Alcorn and Jo Toombs

Whilst exploring options this year away from our traditional presentation events, a big shout out of thanks is also extended to our Junior Blues Coaches and Team Managers who have supported and embraced change, whilst celebrating the success of our junior athletes.

And last but not least, Chris Beattie – MC Extraordinaire! Tirelessly devoting his time to the Frankston Blues, Chris did an exceptional job at all of this year’s club presentation events.

With the club continuing to grow at a rapid rate, volunteers are always needed, please consider making contact with our Blues Chairman, Chris Beattie, if you would like to become involved.
