Stats for Female Participation

Frankston Basketball, in partnership with our 29 junior clubs, have been working hard to increase female participation rates across our program base.

Over the past 12 months, female participation at Frankston Basketball has exceeded 5,000 players enjoying the game of basketball. Combining with male participation, this figure swells to an incredible 17,000 people who are directly engaged in the sport of basketball in the Frankston region.

Basketball in  Frankston is at a tipping point where facilities are not growing with the demand for ‘everyone’s game’.

Basketball, which is the highest participated team sport in the Frankston region, needs a similar investment in facilities as other local sports have achieved.

Keep our kids on court, more often and back basketball!
