Dear members,
Following another lockdown announcement from the Victorian State Government, FDBA will be ceasing all operations effective 8:00 pm Thursday 5th August 2021.
This includes:
- Domestic competitions
- Junior Domestic Games (Under 18 & 21 Boys) on Thursday 5th August will proceed
- Senior Domestic Games on Thursday 5th August will not proceed
- All Frankston Blues training and games
- All development programs
- Court bookings and casual shooting
Junior Domestic Competitions will proceed tonight as scheduled (05/08/2021). Any Junior Domestic team that is unable to play, will not incur a forfeit fee. Senior domestic games on Thursday 5th August will not proceed.
It is anticipated that stadiums will reopen and operations will resume next week, however, this will be subject to Government approval.
FDBA will await information regarding VJBL, Big V and NBL1 from Basketball Victoria, but until other news arrives Frankston Basketball Stadium will remain closed.
FDBA will provide further updates in due course.
