The FDBA would like all participants to be mindful of the Victorian Severe Weather Warning, announced yesterday by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.
There is a forecast of heavy rainfall and damaging winds that Victoria is set to receive over the next 48 hours.
Members may remember the extreme weather warnings that occurred in 2017.
We expect roads to and from our facilities to experience heavy traffic and potential blockages.
Please allow extra time to arrive to scheduled matches and travel safely when commuting to our competition venues.
Referees will be instructed to ensure game clocks do not commence until the initial jump ball.
Please note: Walking Basketball has been cancelled. No casual shooting during the day.
