The Frankston Blues are pleased to announce the Age Group Head Coaches for the 2025/26 VJBL teams.
In the Under 12.1 Girls, Dave Stark brings a wealth of experience across various levels of competition and will step into the role following a successful stint as an assistant coach in 2024/25.
For the Under 14s, Skye Hawkins will take charge of the Under 14.1 Girls after coaching the 14.2 Girls in the 2024/25 season.
A familiar face at the club, the Age Group Head Coach for the Under 16 Girls will be April Whiston. April has strong experience at Big V coaching level and has participated in both Basketball Australia’s Women’s Accelerated Coaching Program and Basketball Australia’s Coaches Conference at the AIS.
Returning to lead the Under 18.1 Girls, Nikki Holmes will continue her work from the 2024/25 season. Nikki has furthered her coaching development through Basketball Victoria’s Vic Country pathway and was also a participant in both Basketball Victoria’s Women’s Accelerated Coaching Program and Basketball Australia’s Coaches Conference at the AIS.
Rounding out our Girls’ program, Rochelle Dullard will retain her position as the Under 20.1 Girls coach, helping players transition from the junior program into the senior ranks.
Natalie Porter, Head of Coaching for the Junior Girls program at Frankston Blues, will remain in her role for the 2025/26 season.

The Frankston Blues can also confirm the Head Coaches who will lead our 2025/26 VJBL Boys teams into the upcoming season.
In the Under 12.1 Boys, Bryce Philippe will step up as Head Coach, moving up from his current role coaching the Under 12.3 team. Bryce will take this group into 2026, providing continuity and strong leadership. Dan Buchanan will head up the Under 12.3 Boys.
For the Under 14s, NBL1 Men’s Captain Lucas Barker will coach the Under 14.1 Boys, with Luke D’Alcorn taking charge of the Under 14.3 Boys.
In the Under 16 program, Daniel Spangler will serve as Head coach of the Under 16.1 Boys, with Campbell Robinson as his assistant. Highly experienced coach Scott Christiansen will lead the Under 16.3 Boys.
Tim Wells will lead the Under 18.1 Boys in ’26, continuing his long-standing commitment to the club. After several consecutive years coaching within the Under 12s, Tim steps up to the 18’s program, bringing valuable expertise and stability.
Our “3s” coaches play a key role in developing bottom-age talent – ensuring strong continuity and long-term development across the program.
Scott Christiansen, Head of Coaching for the Junior Boys program, will remain in his role for the 2025/26 season.
