Holiday Closure & Competition Update – Heading into 2026
As we wrap up the year, we want to sincerely thank all FDBA members. Thank you to the players, coaches, officials, volunteers, clubs, and families for your support and involvement throughout 2025. Your commitment has kept our basketball community strong during a period without a permanent home venue, as we’ve relied on a range of external venues to keep everyone on court. It’s been a year defined by adaptability and resilience across everyone involved in Frankston Basketball.
We’re looking forward to a big 2026 and can’t wait to see everyone back on court soon.
Front Office Closure (Christmas / New Year)
Please note the FDBA Front Office will be closed from Friday, 19 December 2025, and will reopen Monday, 12 January 2026.
During this time, our response times will be limited. We appreciate your patience, and we’ll respond to enquiries as soon as possible once we return.
Competition Commencement – 2026
Competitions will recommence in January:
- Senior domestic competitions commence Sunday, 11 January 2026
- Junior domestic competitions commence Wednesday, 28 January 2026
Frankston Stadium Redevelopment Update
The project team have confirmed that the Frankston Stadium redevelopment remains on track for completion in early 2027. The new stadium structure is now taking shape, with the external walls going up across the site, marking an exciting milestone in the project. We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon.
