PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FDBA’S LATEST COVID-19 UPDATES

Dear Members,

As of 5:00 pm today (Friday 13th March), the Frankston & District Basketball Association will be indefinitely closed as a precaution against COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Until further notice, all FDBA sanctioned activity will be suspended including:

Domestic Competitions: Junior and senior domestic competitions.

VJBL Competitions: All Frankston Blues teams will not play in the VJBL competition tonight, Friday 13th March. Training will not occur Sunday 15th March.

Big V: Both Frankston Blues teams will not play in the competition Saturday 14th March and Sunday 15th March.

Programs: All development programs.

The FDBA will continue to update its members on the operations via our website and social media to ensure everyone is kept up to date. The FDBA has not received any confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus from any of its members, the decision to close is to reduce the chance of infection to our members and slow potential transmission and community spread of the virus. The FDBA domestic finals programs will be reviewed in line with the commencement of the 2020 Winter season and we will communicate our new schedules when they have been finalised.

On behalf of the FDBA, I would like to thank you for your understanding at this time.
