Following today’s announcement from the Victorian State Government, FDBA operations will resume Wednesday 28th July.

Domestic Competitions (Junior & Senior)
Competitions will resume this Wednesday 28th July.
As per changes in Restrictions from 11:59 pm Wednesday 28th July; Victoria, Community Sport
Community sport:
- Open for all ages, training and competition. Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies
- Limited to minimum number of people required to participate in and facilitate the activity (i.e. players, coaches)
Spectators not allowed (excludes people necessary for events such as teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, umpires, carers, parents and guardians)
In accordance with the Victorian Government restrictions and Basketball Victoria’s ORANGE-50 Guidelines (Announcement), the following will apply at all FDBA venues:
- Maximum 1 x coach, team manager and scorer per team (not counted as a spectator)
- Maximum of 1 parent/guardian, per player under the age of 18 (this includes siblings and children, not negotiable)
- Check-in mandatory (QR Code preferred)
- Masks must be worn by all patrons over 12 years of age at all times indoors unless medically exempt. Players, coaches and referees are exempt while on court participating in an exertive role
- Teams must immediately vacate the court and the venue on completion of match
Please note the following:
- All matches scheduled during lockdown have been canceled in accordance with domestic competition by-laws
- Saturday fixtures are currently being updated. Once completed they can be found HERE

Development Programs
Term 3 Development Programs will begin from Sunday 8th August, as advertised.

Frankston Blues (Juniors & Seniors)
VJBL games will resume from Friday 30th July, as all missed rounds were declared a washout the current fixture for Friday is accurate.
For games being played at Frankston Stadium the following safety measures will apply:
- Maximum 1 x coach, assistant coach, and team manager (not counted as a spectator). This means that if you are assigning scorers they will need to come from your team’s spectator allowance.
- Maximum of 1 parent/guardian, per player (this includes siblings and children, not negotiable)
- Sign-in mandatory (QR Code preferred)

Junior Blues training will resume Sunday 1st August. Further information will be provided to Team Managers.
Information regarding Frankston Blues Seniors (Big V and NBL1) will be provided to coaches and staff.
All resumption dates are indicative only and subject to change pending public health advice.
