BIG V SEASON CANCELLED

Basketball Vicotria today announced the 2021 Big V Season had been cancelled. (Basketball Victoria Announcement)

“With the extension of the lockdown, the 2020/2021 Big V season has been cancelled.”

“While our intent was to play finals and grand finals at the start of September, the extended lockdown has removed all available weeks remaining in the schedule to accommodate the return to the season.”

FDBA Basketball Development Manager Jarryd Moss spoke about the cancelled season.

“Our Big V sides have been working hard both on and off the court since November 2020, both sides were in a strong position to win the Youth League One Championships.”

“This is disappointing news for our players, coaches and families but we know they will be back better than ever in 2022.”

“We’d like to thank Kerryn, Ash and their coaches for their leadership and their efforts in keeping our teams moving forward in recent times”

Our ‘Powerade’ Blues Youth League Women finish the season second on the ladder with a 10-5 record.

Our ‘Frankston RSL’ Blues Youth League Men finish the season second on the ladder with a 15-3 record.
