The FDBA family would like to extend its deepest condolences to Gavin Christie and his family on the sad passing of his father Garry, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Garry was a Basketball stalwart who has coached many people from grassroots level up to the representative level.
Garry had been a domestic and rep coach at Frankston Basketball from the early 90s up until the mid-2000s.
Along with his Wife Di Christie, they have both coached several young basketballers together and scored several SEABL games (Currently NBL1) across FDBA and Nunawading.
Garry created the Giants Masters team on our Sunday Masters competition over 20 years ago with several of his former junior players who have played in the team over the years.
