SATURDAY FINALS TIP OFF TOMORROW
Finals fever is well and truly in the air!
Congratulations to all mid-week teams who made finals and a further congratulations to those who progressed into Grand Finals!
A special shoutout to the coaches, team managers and other club volunteers for their hard work and cooperation.
Saturday Semi-Finals are set to tip off tomorrow and we are very excited to host over 100 finals games. Good luck!
Here is everything you need to know before attending games this weekend and next week…
A friendly reminder: By entering our venues, you agree to uphold the Basketball Victoria Codes of Conduct, follow FDBA rules and policies, and embody Frankston Basketball’s core values of Respect and Sportsmanship.
We encourage everyone to be loud and cheer positively for your teams and players, show respect for the officials, and support the coaches. If you find it hard to maintain this standard, please consider staying home so we can keep our stadiums a fun and safe space for everyone!

Finals Rules
Rules are the same as regular season rules.
However, the clock will stop during time-outs. This does not apply to under 8’s.

- Each venue will be equipped with venue supervisors or referee supervisors.
- Finals Qualifications list will be at each venue – please touch base with staff for any queries.
- Any team playing an ineligible player will automatically forfeit the match.
Finals Fixture
Weekday Grand Final fixtures have been completed and are available via PlayHQ.
All Grand Finals will have presentations in the foyer with trophies and an MVP medal to be presented following each match.
Saturday Grand Final fixtures will be due for completion on Tuesday morning.
Saturday Grand Final presentations will be occurring immediately after every game, look out for venue signage on gameday.
U8 Competitions
U8 divisions will play a regular season game during Semi Final round on Saturday September 14th.
The following week (September 21st) teams will play finals participation matches based on final ladder standings:
- 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, 5th vs 6th, etc
Presentations are held after all games on the 21st of September.
