Frankston Blues are excited to announce the appointment of April Whiston as the new Head Coach of the club’s Victorian Youth Championship Women (Big V) team.
Currently serving as the Head Coach for the Under 16.1 Girls, April brings a wealth of experience from her involvement in the Basketball Victoria High Performance pathway and her various coaching roles across both junior and senior levels at Frankston and Mornington in recent years.
“I strongly believe that participating in sports from a young age provides individuals with a greater chance of becoming successful, contributing members of society,” said Whiston. “At the same time, I’m highly competitive and set high standards for my team. I encourage everyone to move in the same direction, striving towards a common goal. In this case, that goal is to win the championship!”
