Fixture Requests
FDBA’s ability to accommodate fixture requests is now limited:
- Coaches of multiple teams will be accommodated (no games clash)
- Players in multiple teams, permanent specific game time requests and team manager requests will not be accommodated
- Special event (one-off) requests may be accommodated with 7 days’ notice
Screening
All coaches and team managers must register via PlayHQ, there is no registration fee for these roles. If an individual is acting as both the coach and team manager, they must be registered for both roles.
All coaches and team managers (Over 18 years old) MUST hold a valid WWC check in order to undertake their role.
Coaches and team managers must be registered by Sunday, April 12th.
Any non-compliant individuals will not be permitted to continue in their allocated role.
The PlaySafe implementation (powered by Oho), will prevent coaches team managers from completing their registration if they do not hold a valid WWC Check.
The system helps automate verification and management of credentials, strengthening child safety and reducing the administration burden on volunteers.
Teachers are exempt from the WWC. These members can mark this in the dropdown menu: ie ‘Yes, I am a Registered Teacher’ and apply the VIT number in the following text box.
Police Officers are no longer exempt and must now hold a valid WWC.
As required by the BV Member Protection By-Laws, Member Protection Declarations are required from all new committee members, coaches and team managers – this process is now managed automatically upon registration in PlayHQ.
Screening will be audited and clubs may be required to provide copies of declarations on request.

Age group exemptions must be submitted via your club. If endorsed by the club, it will be passed on to the FDBA Match Committee for approval. Requests will not be considered without supporting documentation.
