CASUAL SHOOTING – TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE AT FDBA

Due to the ongoing Frankston Basketball Stadium Redevelopment, casual shooting is not currently available at our Bardia Avenue facility.

This will be in affect until mid-2027 at the earliest.

ALTERNATIVE VENUE: JUBILEE PARK STADIUM

The closest alternative for casual basketball shooting is Jubilee Park Stadium (pre 4:00pm).
Those wishing to access casual shooting at Jubilee Park must contact the Frankston District Netball Association (FDNA) in advance.

While the FDBA stadium is undergoing redevelopment, court hire and training availability at Bardia Avenue is paused.

Court Hire (Post-Redevelopment)

Once reopened, Frankston Basketball Stadium will continue to offer:

  • Ten-court facility suitable for events and team training

  • Amenities including change rooms, showers, kitchen, canteen, bar, conference room, and merchandise outlet

Standard hire rates:

  • TBC

  • Discounted rates available for FDBA member clubs and teams

When casual shooting becomes available again, please see below for general information about casual shooting and bookings:

FDBA offer casual shooting at our stadium (90 Bardia Ave, Seaford) for $4 per person from 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday (outside of event & stadium bookings). 

Casual shooting is not available in the evening or weekends due to competitions. There is limited availability during school holiday periods due to children’s camps / clinics – we advise calling the stadium during holidays to check availability.

The stadium is closed for approximately 3 weeks over the Christmas holiday period (late December to mid-January).

BOOKINGS

The Frankston Basketball Stadium is located just a few minutes off the Seaford Road exit of the Frankston Freeway, with the Eastlink Freeway providing convenient access from anywhere in Melbourne.

Our facility can cater for major events and exhibitions. Facilities include change rooms, showers, bar, kitchen, canteen, conference room and merchandise outlet.

Court hire is based on $45.00 per hour. Full details can be found in the court booking document below.

TEAM TRAINING COURT HIRE

Permanent weekly bookings are available at Frankston Stadium for teams for training (subject to availability). Court hire is based on $45.00 per hour – rates for 1/2 court, 45min and 30min sessions are available. Discounted hire rates available for all FDBA member teams & clubs.
