Dear FDBA members,

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the FDBA has made the responsible and safe decision to include in our Return to Sport strategy a cashless Association.

This has been made possible by fitting out every venue with a new cash-free Point-Of-Sale system.

The change will apply to all junior and senior competitions, programs, canteen (once reopened) and merchandise transactions (once re-opened)

Clubs will continue to have the option of bulk invoicing and Teams can pre-pay for bulk games.

FDBA General Manager Wayne Holdsworth spoke about the change

“There is a risk associated with the handling of cash and coins and at this point we all need to take steps to mitigate any risks and this is one way to not only mitigate any health risk but also to accommodate for the many that have for some time requested a cashless point of sale system as opposed to cash”.
