With the Big V season well underway, our Youth League Men could not be placed any better, currently sitting on top of the ladder undefeated 4-0.
With new Head Coach Ash Arnott at the helm, our Men have defeated Warrandyte Venom (87-59), Geelong United (72-68), Wyndham (122-63), and Bendigo Braves (98-69).
To date, 17 players have taken the floor for the Blues, with no one playing more than 28 minutes in a single game.
Not surprising to many, Tom Garrett leads the scoring with 15.5 points per game (2 games player), closely followed by Josh Cleary (12 points per game) who has been dominating beyond the arc averaging 3.3 three-points made per game at over 40%.
Luke Beard and Jacob Melhem have also reached double digits with 11.8 and 10.5 points per game respectfully.
The Men have shared the rebounding load with big-men Henry Peirce and Hugh Romancz averaging 6.3 and 5.5 rebounds, but there has been help from others with Tim Wells, Tom Garrett, Vincent Monaghan and Kynan Phillipe all averaging 5 or more rebounds per game.
The Youth League Men have taken this weekend off for the Easter period and return to the courts on April 10th as they take on Casey Cavaliers
