Frankston Basketball is excited to open registrations for our Term 2 Development Programs, the slate of programs includes all of your favourite programs with Mini Hoops (3-5 year old’s), Aussie Hoops (5-10 year old’s) and a new and improved program that will be a blend of our former Domestic Academy and Rep Prep programs, now called Game Ready (current domestic players in U10’s, U12’s or U14’s) as well as our inclusion programs, All Abilities and Walking Basketball.

We’ve made some slight changes to our programs with the addition of a Monday afternoon Girls Only Aussie Hoops session as well as a Saturday morning Aussie Hoops session that will take place on Court 5 & 6 at Frankston Stadium during our FDBA Domestic Competitions.

As previously mentioned we have also combined our Domestic Academy and Rep Prep programs to offer a more streamlined program that will cater for all domestic players in U10’s, U12’s and U14’s whether you are aspiring to play representative basketball or looking to improve your skills and understanding of how to play the game. Throughout the Game Ready program our lead coaches will separate kids into smaller groups based on age and then level of development, drills will be specifically tailored to each group and player’s needs. Coaches will also provide players with a skills matrix that they can follow to track their progress as well as providing feedback for each child.

Finally, for children that are wanting to fast-track their development, we have a number of NBL1 and Big V players available to take Individual Coaching sessions. These sessions are most suitable for current representative players or players that are highly motivated to try out and gain selection into a representative program later in the year.

All programs will begin the week starting Sunday the 16th of May and we are offering an Early-Bird registration period up until midnight on Sunday the 2nd of May.
