Frankston Blues’s Darcee Garbin has been awarded the NBL1 South Player of the Week award for Round 2.
In round 2, Garbin contributed 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists Friday night in the Blues’ 6 point victory over the Bendigo Braves (76-70), backed up by 30 points and 10 rebound effort Saturday night as the Blues defeated the Dandenong Rangers (78-75). (Recap)
Garbin is currently averaging a league second-best 27.7 points per game, with no signs of slowing down.
Garbin also just announced two weeks ago re-signing with the Perth Lynx for the upcoming WNBL season.
The Powerade Blues Women currently sits top of the ladder with a 3-0 record.
In Round 3, on Saturday night, the NBL1 Frankston Blues will play against the Launceston Tornadoes (Women) and the North West Tasmania Thunder (Men). Tickets can be purchased HERE.
