Frankston Blues (FDBA) are proud to announce 6’8 forward, Cooper Wilks will join the Senior Men’s team from Saturday night.
Wilks will help assist the team’s frontcourt, with David Andersen and Callum Barker’s absence.
He is a junior of the Norths Bears (NSW)(former home to Daniel Trist), Conference Champion for the University of New Brunswick in Canada, and joins the Blues as the current number 6th ranked FIBA 3×3 player in Australia.
Outside of basketball, Cooper is finishing an Engineering Degree at Macquarie University and working at ACPE in a numeracy advisor capacity.
Head Coach Andrew Harms spoke about Cooper joining the group.
“First and foremost we vette our guys around character traits and Coops ticked those boxes with the people we spoke with.”

Wilks spoke about joining Frankston.
