Next month, Frankston Blues NBL1 Men’s Captain Igor Hadziomerovic will be taking on a ‘Sober October’ in hopes of raising money for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
Igor spoke about his fundraising efforts.
“This one really hits home being a refugee from Bosnia after the Yugoslavian war struck in 1992.
I’m super grateful to have been giving the opportunity at a second chance in this amazing country I call home now, Australia.
There are thousands of refugees every year seeking asylum due to circumstances out of their control and every donation will help.
