FDBA WINTER CAMPS A BIG HIT

FDBA WINTER CAMPS A BIG HIT

The Frankston & District Basketball Association (FDBA) has wrapped up another awesome round of School Holiday Camps.

Even with construction underway at the usual venue (Frankston Stadium), the action didn’t stop. Thanks to Patterson River Secondary College, we were able to keep the ball rolling with all our camps running smoothly offsite.

The last two weeks saw over 350 kids join in the fun across five different programs, including Slam Dunk, Aussie Hoops, Girls Got Game, Girls Only Rep Skills, and the All-Dai Sport Performance camps. Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or already playing rep-level basketball, there was something for everyone.

The camps focused on learning new skills, building confidence, and most importantly, having a great time. With experienced coaches/Senior Blues players leading the way, every session was packed with energy, encouragement, and heaps of smiles.

Mel Bell, FDBA’s Programs Officer, said it best:
“It’s been fantastic to see so many young players come through our Winter Camps with big smiles, having fun and learning new skills. Our coaching staff did a brilliant job creating a positive and supportive environment, and we’re really proud of the experience we’ve been able to offer. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back again next time.”

Registrations for Term 3 programs are now open, so if your child is keen to keep improving their game (and having fun doing it), make sure you grab a spot! Sessions begin on August 5th!

Stay tuned… details for our Spring Holiday Camps are just around the corner.
