IMPORTANT – Match Payments (Teampay)
From Winter 2026, all Senior Domestic match payments will be processed via Teampay.
Point of sale (card) payments will no longer be accepted.
FDBA has partnered with Teampay as the Official Game Day Payments provider for Senior Domestic Basketball.
Teampay simplifies game day payments by automatically splitting match fees between selected players. The Teampay app is available on Android and iOS.
The aim is to remove the burden of collecting team and player game fees, making it simple for team delegates to process match payments without having to pay at the front counter.
When setting domestic competition match fees for the Winter 2026 season, we have factored payment processing costs into the overall budgeting process. There are no additional or hidden FDBA charges beyond the match fee and the standard Teampay processing fee shown in the app.
- Winter 2026 team registration and match fees remain unchanged:
- Team registration fee: $90.00
- Match Fee: $81.00
- Championship Men Match Fee: $91.00

Winter 2026 Team Registration Dates:
How it works:
- Teams receive a Teampay unique team code from the association prior to the season.
- The first player to register via the code is assigned as the team captain/team delegate.
- All subsequent players will be assigned as team members.
- Team captains/delegates can be changed if required*
- Players join the team via the Teampay app, using the unique code.
- All players enter their Debit/Credit card details into their Teampay account.
- Team delegates select available players on game night.
- Match fees are automatically split between all playing players.
- Payments will be only deducted from players that have been selected by the team captain/delegate.
*Multiple members of the team can have the captain’s role in the app.
*FDBA Staff can change the team captain upon request from the team delegate.
Forfeit fines: Forfeit fines will be payable via the Teampay app for the Winter 2026 season.
- Team members will receive a push notification when an opposition team submits a forfeit within the app.
- Team Delegates are still encouraged to contact the association directly when submitting a forfeit.
- The association will still attempt to contact the team delegate when the forfeit has been submitted.
- Push notifications will only be received if enabled in your phone settings.
- Forfeit fines will remain due 2 weeks from the forfeit date & can still be paid through the Teampay app during that time period.
