Sophie Alexander led the team in scoring at 16.7 points per game before departing for college in the United States, leaving the group to share the offensive load across the final stretch of the season. Lily Ellul stepped up with 12.2 points and 2.6 steals per game, while captain Zoe Harvey continued to set the standard at both ends of the floor throughout the campaign.
Frankston opened its finals run with a 64–52 Semi Final victory over Coburg, powered by a standout performance from Georgia Mann. Mann finished with 21 points, five rebounds and three steals, while also knocking down three shots from beyond the arc.
The Blues then travelled down the highway to face Bellarine in the Preliminary Final. The two sides had split their regular-season meetings with a win each, with Bellarine entering the contest with a 17–5 record.
Bellarine opened up a 17-point halftime lead, but Frankston responded with the same fight it had shown throughout the season. Marley Alimpic scored eight of her 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Blues mounted a late charge, but time ultimately ran out in a 76–66 defeat.
While the season ended one win short of the Grand Final, there is plenty for this young group to be proud of. With another year of development ahead, the Blues will be looking to build on an impressive campaign and take the next step in 2027.
