Match Payments (Teampay)
FDBA has partnered with Teampay as the Official Game Day Payments provider for Senior Domestic Basketball.
Point of sale (card) payments are no longer be accepted.
- Existing teams – Your Teampay code will carry over to the Summer season
- If you are changing your team name – please notify us to ensure your code can be transferred over
- New teams – Your Teampay code will be provided to you upon fixture release
Teampay simplifies game day payments by automatically splitting match fees between selected players. The Teampay app is available on;
How it works:
- Teams receive a Teampay team code prior to the season.
- Players join the team via the Teampay app after completing PlayHQ registration.
- Team delegates select available players on game night.
- Match fees are automatically split and charged only to selected players.

Team registration fee remain unchanged.
- Senior team registration: $90.00

Match Fees:
Referee reimbursement rates will increase by an average 4.7% commencing January 1st, 2027. These rates are reviewed annually by Basketball Victoria which governs all technical official reimbursements.
External court hire costs continue to increase as we navigate the ongoing redevelopment of Frankston Basketball Stadium.
With the above in mind FDBA match fees will be increased by $5, registration fees remain the same. Please see the updated fee structure below:
- Match fees: $86.00
- Championship Men fees: $96.00
- Match forfeit fee: $172.00 (+$40.00 for un-notified)
- Championship Men Match forfeit fee: $192.00 (+$40.00 for un-notified)
Player Registrations
Each team has a unique PlayHQ registration link for players. Team delegates receive this link via their confirmation email and can also access it through their PlayHQ participant portal.

Season Calendars
Forfeits
Forfeit fines will be payable via the Teampay app.
- Team members will receive a push notification when an opposition team submits a forfeit within the app.
- The association will still attempt to contact the team delegate when the forfeit has been submitted.
- Push notifications will only be received if enabled in your phone settings.
- Forfeit fines will remain due 2 weeks from the forfeit date & are required to be paid through the Teampay app during that time period.
