Southside Flyers have today announced the signing of Frankston Blues junior and now NBL1 star Steph Reid for the upcoming WNBL 2019/20 Season.
Reid returns to the WNBL after an amazing season in the NBL1 2019, with a platter of achievements including; averaging 21.6 ppg, 6.3 apg and 1.6 spg; a league record 50 point game, and taking out Frankston Blue’s MVP award.
She was also a part of the Australian Emerging Opals’ gold medal campaign at the World University Games.
Southside Flyers’ General Manager; Tracey Browning spoke about the announcement.

Reid couldn’t be happier to play for the new club.
“I’m extremely excited to play another season in the WNBL with a new team and alongside such a star studded lineup.”
Playing for a South East Melbourne based club means Blues fans will continue to see her around.
“I am equally excited that I get to stay in Melbourne throughout this season so I can continue to be around the Frankston Blues community and continue to coach and grow our junior program.”
