Last night the Frankston & District Basketball Association celebrated the amazing past 12 months at Cracked Pepper (Frankston RSL).

The annual presentations opened with General Manager Wayne Holdsworth expressing his delight in being part of the the Frankston basketball family.

“I would like to wish all of the Frankston basketball family a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year and whilst I do not have a physical present for you all my present is in the form of a promise that the FDBA will be the very best Association in the future, an Association that we can all be proud of.”

In 2019 there was 3 awards presented; Fratelli Frankston FDBA People’s Choice Award, Blues Volunteer of the Year  and FDBA Volunteer of the Year Award.

Including shot clock education sessions for our Junior Blues parents, putting her hand up to help with Junior Blues tryouts and assisting in game night ticket sales over the phone. In 2019 she was also team manager to our Boys Under 18.1s.

But the biggest crowd pleaser was Frankston Blues star child Najeal “Deuce” Young receiving an Australian themed Christmas/farewell gift from the Association.
