The ‘Powerade’ Blues Women are pleased to announce the signing of Tahlia Tupaea for the 2020 NBL1 Season.
Raised in Penrith, New South Wales, Tupaea is a 5’9 guard currently starting for the Sydney Flames in the WNBL, averaging 8.8 points at 46%, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal per game.
Tahlia represented Australia at FIBA events including; U16 Oceania Championship 2013, U19 World Championships: 2013 (Bronze) and U18 Oceania Championship 2014.
In April 2017 Tupaea was drafted to the WNBA with the Minnesota Lynx .
Tahlia will arrive in Frankston following the end of her WNBL season.
