The ‘Powerade’ Blues Women are pleased to announce the signing of Lara McSpadden for the 2020 NBL1 South Season.
McSpadden is a 6’4 centre from Newcastle, New South Wales, who has most recently been playing for the Sydney Uni Flames in the WNBL, alongside Tahlia Tupaea.
Lara represented Australia from 2015 to 2018, including being part of the 2017 FIBA Gold Medal Under 17 World Championship team, with new Blues team mate Kierra Rowe.
And last year at the World Uni Games in Napoli, along with Steph Reid.
She is expected to arrive in Frankston following the end of her WNBL commitments.
