Frankston Basketball are excited to announce the launch of the Online Development Programs.
These programs are designed to replace the programs that would usually be ran at the Frankston Basketball Stadium during the school term.
We are offering a Beginner Program, which will be perfect for those participants that might have enrolled in Mini Hoops or Aussie Hoops and an Intermediate Program for those players that might have enrolled in to our Domestic Academy or Rep Prep programs as well as an All Abilities Program.
Registered participants will receive access to a range of online resources including but not limited to the following:
- Weekly instructional video to follow along to
- Weekly Session Plan
- Twice weekly Zoom Meetings for parents
- Weekly follow up email for questions and feedback
Registration for these programs is completely FREE as we want to provide this resource as an outlet to our community to help keep them engaged in the sport.
FDBA Basketball Development Manage spoke about the Online Development Program.
“We’re really excited to be able to offer this to our community, especially given the circumstances keeping them from participating in sport as they normally would”
“We feel this could provide a great outlet, not only for the kids but also for the parents – so much of these programs is focused on teaching the parents how to teach the kids so we hope it will keep them engaged in the sport also”
“We’ve been brainstorming and planning this for some time, we feel we’ve catered to a range of different age groups and experience levels – this will be perfect for beginners and will also have something to challenge kids currently playing in our domestic competitions”
