BLUES FROM HOME – Q&A WITH LACHLAN BARKER

Lachlan Barker joined the Frankston Blues at the beginning of the 2019 season after 3 years with the Sydney Kings as a Development Player. Lachlan came highly recommended by all previous coaches as not only an exciting talent but an outstanding person.

After a terrific first season with the Blues in 2019 Lachie decided to stay in Melbourne (originally from the North West Coast of Tasmania) and took up the opportunity to join South East Melbourne Phoenix sessions as a training player, Lachie was also heavily involved in the Frankston Basketball Development Programs and took on an Assistant Coaching role with our U21’s VJBL side.

Most of you will have seen Lachie around the stadium shooting or coaching one of our programs but he has turned Frankston Stadium into his sanctuary, we catch up with him today for a quick Q&A while in hotel quarantine in Launceston. We discuss why he stayed in Victoria, what he did during the first lockdown, and his reasons for heading back to Tasmania this time around.
