On Thursday morning we had the pleasure of catching up with Kiera Rowe from our Frankston Blues Women’s side in NBL1 and the Sydney Uni Flames in the WNBL.
Kiera talks about what kept her busy in both stages of lockdown here in Victoria, her signing with Sydney Uni and also took the time to give our Junior Blues some advice about staying connected with one another and keeping their mind and body healthy.
Kiera is currently studying Physiotherapy and is also training to become a qualified Pilates Instructor, she is a wonderful role model for our Junior Blues players and has a wealth of knowledge on what it takes to keep her mind and body ready to play at a high level from both the perspective of a professional athlete and in professional fields off the court.
Unfortunately due to the 2020 NBL1 season being cancelled we didn’t get to see Kiera suit up for the Blues this year but she has generously offered to take a Train With Me session on Monday evening at 5pm for our Junior Blues Girls, don’t miss this chance to catch up with Kiera before she heads up to Sydney to prepare for the WNBL season.
We’d like to thank Kiera for giving up her time and we look forward to watching her on court this season with Sydney Uni.
