PAHO WEEK 2 RECAP

PAHO WEEK 2 RECAP

We’ve come to the end of Week Two of our Peninsula Aussie Hoops Online program and it was another great week with some new faces joining in both coaches and ‘hoopers’ alike.

This week we welcomed in coaches Kelly Read, Andrew Cipriano and Adam Goddard all from Southern Peninsula – thank you to these three for being involved in our program.

Families were sent out a Delly & LJ colouring competition for participants to complete, we hope to see some of our kids bringing these to sessions over the next week!

Our Aussie Hooper of the week this week comes from our Tuesday afternoon session and has been awarded to Kobi Ellul from Frankston! Kobi has been awarded our Aussie Hooper of the Week for because he was ready on time, stay engaged the whole session, and gave all the new challenges a go so that he can improve his skills. Congratulations Kobi!

Week 3 of the program will be focusing on Shooting! Don’t worry if you don’t have a hoop, all sessions will be able to be completed with or without a hoop. We will be teaching proper shooting technique and introducing the footwork to execute a “lay-up”. If you have access to a hoop, obviously you can use your hoop but those without a hoop will just need a marker, line on the concrete, or some sort of marker to use as a target.

If you wanted to re-do any of the skills sessions in your own time you can access them in our video library on the Peninsula Aussie Hoops Online landing page HERE.

Please follow the instructions in the video provided.
