DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS TERM 4 2020

We extremely excited to announce that the Frankston Basketball Development Programs will be “Bouncing Back” on Monday the 9th of November, kicking off with our Mini Hoops program at 9:30 am.

There is something to suit all ages and abilities so please see below a brief re-introduction to each of these programs:

All Abilities – Friday 5:00 pm

Frankston Basketball’s All Abilities Program is an inclusive program to encourage sport and recreation opportunities for young people (6 to 14 years of age) with a disability. For more information click HERE

Mini Hoops – Monday to Friday 9:30 am, Sunday 3:00 pm

The Mini Hoops Program is an exciting program designed to introduce the game of Basketball to 3 to 5-year-old beginners with parental assistance. This unique program introduces your child to basketball in a fun and educational manner; through warm-ups, games, and drills. All new players receive a player pack including a ball, shirt, drink bottle and bag. For more information click HERE

Aussie Hoops – Tuesday & Thursday 4:00 pm, Sunday 3:00 pm

Aussie Hoops is Frankston Basketball’s and Basketball Australia’s official introductory program for 5-10-year-olds and their families. Aussie Hoops is a national program that provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation, and grassroots sports participation. Domestic Academy – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 4:00 pm

The Domestic Academy Program is tailored specifically for domestic players in the U10, U12 and U14 age groups, currently playing B, C or D grade Domestic Basketball. The program uses high level coaching to help players further develop the fundamental skills of basketball. For more information click HERE

Rep Prep – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 4:00 pm

More advanced drills and training to prepare for representative level basketball, best suited for players who have learned the fundamentals of the game and are looking to build on their skill sets. Preferably for players in U12 and U14 age groups, currently playing A or B grade Domestic Basketball. For more information click HERE
