WNBL 2020 SEASON TO KICK OFF

The 2020 Chemist Warehouse WNBL season will be like no other, with North Queensland to host a revised season model featuring 60 games of world-class women’s basketball inside six-weeks from November 11 to December 20. (WNBL 2020 Fixture Announcement)

Frankston Blues are proud to see six of our (what would have been) Senior Blues NBL1 South players, and our head coach represented in; Ella Batish (Adelaide Lightning), Lara McSpadden (Townsville Fire), Stephanie Reid (Townsville Fire), Kiera Rowe (Sydney Flames), Saraid Taylor (Southside Flyers), Tahlia Tupaea (Canberra Capitals) and Belinda Snell (Southside Flyers).

Basketball Australia has announced their broadcast arrangements for the 2020 Season, providing the league with more visibility than ever before. Fox Sports will broadcast LIVE four games per week (7.00pm AEDT Thursday, 5.00pm AEDT Saturday, 1.00pm AEDT Sunday and 3.00pm AEDT Sunday) on Foxtel and Kayo, with the ABC simulcasting on both their primary channel and ABC iview the 5.00pm Saturday and 3.00pm Sunday games.
