Dear members,
FDBA is pleased to confirm the further easing of restrictions following Basketball Victoria’s announcement today.
Orange-50 of Basketball Victoria’s Return to Sport Guidelines will now apply for all FDBA venues, effective immediately.
Restrictions are now as follows:
- Junior Teams (U18)
- Players – maximum of 12
- Team staff – 1 x coach, team manger & scorer
- 1 x parent/guardian per player
- Senior Teams
- Players – maximum of 12
- 1 x scorer
- Spectators – not permitted
- All patrons:
- Face Covering – required indoors as per Government requirements for all patrons aged 12 years and over on arrival and departure from the stadium and at any time when not participating
- Stadium Entry/Departure
- Patrons will be permitted to enter the venue by the FDBA Bio-Safety Officer a maximum of 10 minutes before their scheduled match
- Members that arrive early will be required to wait outside and adhere to social distancing requirements
- Complimentary hand sanitiser available upon entry
- All spectators and team staff are required to sign in on entry via QR code
- Patrons must exit the venue immediately after their match to allow for FDBA staff to complete COVID safety protocol
- Frankston Stadium will have separate entry and exit points until further notice:
All domestic competitions matches are currently being scheduled on 1 hour time slots to allow for sufficient changeover time with adherence to COVID safety protocol and the patron cap.
