FDBA is proud to say the ‘FRATELLI FRANKSTON’ JUNIOR DOMESTIC COMPETITIONS ARE BACK!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our naming rights partner ‘Fratelli Frankston’ for their continued support to the basketball community.
If you are planning a family dinner or team get-together please think of them. We are sure you will have a great meal!
Additionally, you may have received a number of communications regarding spectators this week from the front office, listed below:
To reiterate, the Association will not tolerate poor behavior, mistreatment of FDBA staff by players/officials/spectators, or tolerate blatantly breaches of COVID prevention procedures.
The restrictions in place are as per Basketball Victoria’s Guidelines – Each child is limited to one parent, guardian or carer only, where the child requires parental supervision.
We are very fortunate to be in a position for spectators to attend matches at all this year. The restrictions in place are as per Basketball Victoria’s Guidelines – Each child is limited to one parent, guardian or carer only, where the child requires parental supervision.
These guidelines have been developed in consultation with the relevant government authorities and are compliant with the latest public health advice. Currently community sport has been permitted with the minimum number of people required to facilitate the activity.
Individuals who willfully jeopardize the safety of others will face penalties including ejection from venues, forfeiture of matches and suspension.
We understand that this year has been very challenging and many of you have had to make significant sacrifices. If everyone plays their part we can all continue to enjoy our return to basketball.
