Frankston Blues (FDBA) are proud to announce that Ella Batish will join the Blues for the upcoming NBL1 South 2021 Season.
Batish was set to play for the Blues in 2020 before the season was canceled due to Covid-19.
Coming off her debut WNBL season with the Adelaide Lightning, Batish will be looking to further develop her game.
In the 2019 NBL1 season, Batish averaged 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Sabres.
Head Coach Belinda Snell spoke about rejoining the club, after the canceled 2020 season
“We are excited to have Ella as part of the Blues community.”
“Ella showed some great signs in her first season in the WNBL and we will be looking for her to be a strong inside presence for us this season.”
Batish spoke about joining the Blues.
“I was really disappointed last year when the NBL1 season was canceled but I’m really looking forward to finally being able to play my first game with the Blues and for Belinda.”
“I’ve heard a lot about the great culture at Frankston and can’t wait to be apart of it and give back to the Blues community.”
