Last night the Frankston Blues celebrated the start of the 2021 seasons of Big V Youth League and NBL1 South.

Our Men’s Naming Rights Sponsor; Frankston RSL hosted an amazing event and we can’t thank them enough for the evening and their ongoing support.

In what was an amazing attendance, this was the first function the Frankston RSL has been able to host since the COVID-19 restrictions.

The club’s players, coaches, and staff were joined by FDBA Board Members, Federal Member for Dunkley Peta Murphy, Basketball Victoria President Mike Bainbridge, and the association’s operations and game night teams.

We also saw the first appearance of the club’s new Game Night Host/MC Chris Sermeno, who MC’ed the evening and heard the next chapter from the ‘Voice of Frankston Blues’ Damian Arsenis.

FDBA Chief Executive Officer Wayne Holdsworth spoke about the event

“It was a terrific night for the FDBA, it was an opportunity to set the scene for the year around the platform that has been built and the next phase of our rebirth.”

“The Frankston RSL was a perfect host and we now look forward to some excellent results on and off court”

The NBL1 South 2021 Season starts April 17th as the Frankston Blues take on the Nunawading Spectres.

The Youth League teams return to the courts on April 10th as they take on Casey Cavaliers.
