Saturday night, in front of a sell-out crowd, the atmosphere like no other, with both games opening with the words of Chris Sermeno.

Greater love hath no man than this,
That a man lay down his life for his friends, like you and me
For the legendary sacrifice of our ANZACS to live on
Remembrance is key

Let’s be real, some of us will never know what it’s like
Risking our lives and limbs in war
But to live in this beautiful country we call home
Is something I know we can all be grateful for

The ANZAC round has so much purpose and reason
They fought their fight
So that right here tonight
We can unite
In freedom

So my fellow compatriots
As we prepare to commemorate for a minute
Let us reflect on the sacrifices made
By our servicemen and women

The Blues Women secured their second win of round two after holding off a spirited effort from the Dandenong Rangers 78-75. Darcee Garbin, again, lead the scoring with 30 points (NBL1 Recap)
