COVID 19 UPDATE (25/05/2021)

The Victorian Government has announced additional COVIDSafe measures will be put in place across Greater Melbourne from 6.00pm Tuesday 25 May.

All FDBA Competitions, Development Programs and Junior & Senior Blues training will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise advised.

COVIDSafe measures in place for all FDBA competitions, programs & training are as follows:

Face Masks

  • Must be worn when indoors, unless an exemption applies
  • Mandatory for all spectators aged 12 years and older
  • Not required by coaches, players and referees in an exertive role, as well as those with a medical exemption.

Venue Check-In

  • Competitions
    • Mandatory for all spectators, coaches and team managers
    • Players are not required to check-in – their attendance is tracked via PlayHQ participation records
  • Training
    • Mandatory for all spectators, coaches and team managers
    • Coach must keep a record of all players in attendance at session

To reduce congestion it is highly recommended that patrons check-in outside the venue using the QR Codes available on our website:

All patrons checking-in must show confirmation to the FDBA staff member at the venue.

Non-compliance will result in removal from the venue.

Facility Attendance Limits

  • Density quotient of one person per two square meters applies, up to 1000 people for community sport facilities
  • Participants and spectators should aim to maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5 metres from others
  • No time limit currently in place; however, patrons are encouraged to arrive no more than 10 minutes before commencement of their activity and depart immediately afterwards
