Frankston Blues (FDBA) are proud to announce the signing of new Youth League Men Head Coach & NBL1 Assistant Coach Duncan Berg.
Duncan joins the ‘Frankston RSL’ Blues Senior Men’s program with a highly successful resume including; two-time SEABL D-League Men (now Big V VYCM) Championship Head Coach (Nunawading Spectres 2010 & Dandenong Ranger 2012), 4 consecutive Under 18 Victorian Championship titles (2005-2008) and Assistant Coach to the 2019 NBL1 Men Championship Nunawading Spectres.
Next year, Duncan will also be assistant coaching the Victorian Metro Under 18s Men and continuing to lead the basketball program at Haileybury (Keysborough)
‘Frankston RSL’ Blues Senior Men’s Head Coach Andrew harms spoke about the signing.
“We are excited that Duncan will be leading our Youth League Men’s program in 2022! Duncan has an extensive and successful history in the Youth League and NBL1 spaces and will bring those winning traits and habits to our club. Duncan will also have a role in our NBL1 squad, and we look forward to his insights and outputs throughout the year.”

Duncan Berg spoke about his appointment.
“After a couple of interrupted years, it’s been difficult for everyone to enjoy their sport and I am really looking forward to getting back on the court.”
“By all reports, this is an exciting and motivated group players and from what I’ve seen so far and from the people I spoken to, the senior program is well run and the coaching team is great to work with.”
“I’m excited to join the Blues senior program and help to develop these boys along their basketball journeys.”
