Frankston Blues (FDBA) are pleased to announce that Tori Jackson has signed with the ‘Powerade’ Frankston Blues NBL1 Women for two years.

Tori demonstrates the complete pathway for youth female basketballers at Frankston.

Jackson started playing basketball at the FDBA at age 8, played junior representative basketball, then stepped up to senior representative in both Youth League and NBL1 (previously SEABL), and now contributes herself to the Junior Blues program.

Frankston Blues Head of Coaching (Junior Girls), Beck Lanting spoke about Tori’s contributions to the club in the junior programs.

“Tori is an integral member of the girl’s program for Blues.”

“Along with supporting FDBA development programs, she was a Head Coach in the Under 12’s program last year and this year is an Assistant Coach in our U12 double bottom aged development group.”

“Her passion for the game shines through in all her coaching, and she is a brilliant mentor and leader for the Blues girls to look up to.”

“There is nothing better than seeing her on the court playing Youth League or NBL1 and hearing her little fans on the sidelines screaming!”

FDBA Chief Executive Officer Wayne Holdsworth said.

“Tori is a wonderful talent and her contribution to the Blues program is exceptional.”

“Tori and the Jackson family are terrific contributors to the club and we are particularly happy to see a homegrown talent develop into a permanent fixture in our elite teams”

Now going into her sixth year in the Senior Blues Women’s program Tori Jackson said.

“I’m honoured to sign with my junior club for the next 2 years!”

“It’s exciting to be a part of the fantastic culture and community here at the Blues and I can’t wait to see what we achieve this year!”
