DANIEL TRIST RE-SIGNS FOR 3 YEARS

Frankston Blues (FDBA) are pleased to announce Daniel Trist has re-signed with the ‘Frankston RSL’ NBL1 Men for the next 3 years.

Trist started with the Blues in 2018, making him one of the longest-standing members of our current roster.

He continues to bring a wealth of experience to the club from his time at the Australian Institute of Sports, his time at college (Lafayette Leopards), Europe, and in the NBL (Melbourne United, SEM Phoenix, and NZ Breakers).

And now his experience is being passed onto our Junior Blues program, with him beginning to assist in the junior program.

Playing in six games in 2021, Trist averaged 16.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

Daniel Trist spoke about his re-commitment to the club.

“I am excited to be back at Frankston basketball for my 5th season at the club.”

“To see where Andrew Harms, Adam Jackson, Pauley Groat, Jarryd Moss and Wayne Holdsworth have taken us to, from where we started is a testament to the hard work and commitment that has become the trademark feature of the Blues. Top to bottom, juniors to seniors, on and off the court.”

“If such a thing existed, I would sign a lifetime deal, but I am proud to say that I will be playing at the Blues for the next three seasons, where we will compete for that inaugural NBL1 National championship.”
