Frankston & District Basketball Association are pleased to announce we were awarded Technical Officials Program of the Year (Tier 1), at Basketball Victoria’s Technical Officials AGM yesterday.
This award recognises the hard work of many people within our Association including FDBA Referee Advisor Chris Morrey, FDBA Referee’s Administrator Steve Lincoln, FDBA Scoretable/Statisticians delegate Tam Philippe, VBRA Frankston branch, our referee supervisors/coaches, our referees, our score table officials and statisticians.
FDBA’s Referee Advisor Chris Morrey spoke about the award.
“It is a great recognition for our association for all of the hard work that has been put into the technical official’s program, not only this year but over many years now.”
“We have technical officials involved at all levels of competitions from grassroots domestic competitions right through to NBL and FIBA competitions.”
Frankston scorer Scott Samson was also awarded VJBL Scoretable Official of the Year.
