Frankston Blues program partner Peninsula Sports Medicine Group provide physiotherapy to all of our NBL1 players. Recently Jarryd Moss injured his right shoulder at training. Physiotherapist Brendan Young has provided an injury report:
“Jarryd had a minor rotator cuff related injury to his shoulder earlier in the pre-season and saw me right away. From the nature of his injury it was decided that he would continue basketball training through the preseason to ensure he is ready for round one, but we modified his strength and conditioning to allow for recovery and strengthening of the shoulder.
With a specific shoulder warm-up, he has been able to participate in all trainings, and has used taping as a means to reduce any small episodes of pain he had been experiencing.
He has been diligent with his strengthening program in the gym and has worked through a progression of exercises to ensure a full recovery is made prior to the beginning of the season.
We are looking forward to seeing Jarryd firing on all cylinders this NBL1 South season.”
